Epsom College in Malaysia is one of the first British international schools to offer their Mandarin language students Hanyu Shuping Kaoshi (HSK) certification.

What is HSK?

Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) is an international standardised Chinese language proficiency qualification which measures the ability of non-native speakers such as foreign students and overseas Chinese. HSK certification is required for Chinese university and job applications.

Why ECiM HSK Mandarin Programme?

Mandarin Language Programme is designed for complete Mandarin fluency in reading, writing and speaking.

Advanced Mandarin study (HSK Level 5) is available for students who want to enrol in a British school, but continue their Mandarin study in A Levels.

Mandarin classes are available from Prep School all the way to A Levels.

Year 7 – 9 students take 4.5 hrs a week.

Year 10 – 11 students take 8 classes a week.

Students get to immerse themselves in the Mandarin language and Chinese history and culture, and still benefit from a British education system through the iGCSE & A Level programme.

September 2017 & January 2018 intake now open.
